( Everyone can afford to give away a smile )
As you read this page please take a moment and pray for the special people below. It is amazing how
prayers can help one to heal and grow stronger.Thank you Jenny
We have been doing this for a three plus years now and I know it brightens someones day including
mine..This is what I do .Every litter of puppies we have I will be giving one puppy away from each litter to someone
special.I will not be giving a puppy away to just anyone.
This is for someone who has suffered a loss ,battling an Illness, someone who needs a little brightness in their life.Age
doesn't matter a child or adult can apply You do not get to choose the sex of the puppy and they are not going to be used
for breeding.
This is for the ones out there that can't afford to buy a puppy do to medical bills or income or what not but can afford
to care for a puppy. The one chosen will need to pay the shipping if needed to be shipped.
.You can send me a letter by postal mail or email with your story and I will then choose from there from the ones gathered. No
one but me will read or see any letter that I receive it is completely confidential.(Unless it is agreed to share the stories
some just need to be told)
Here is Andrews story.
I am writing on behalf of my nine year old son Andrew. Andrew was diagnosed
with Luekemia in September 2005, and it changed our lives completely. We are now 14 months into a 3 1/2 year chemotherapy
treatment protocol. Andrew has been in remission since day seven. Having a son with Luekemia is a sureal experience.
At terrifying and traumatic as it has been, it has been equally eye opening and truly the experience of a life time.
Andrew has been hospitalized 8-10 times in the past year for everything from chemotherapy treatments, to allergic reactions,
to the most recently for Chicken Pox. At the same time we as a family have been showered by kindness and support from
friends, relatives and neighbors as well as charitable organizations like The Heart Connection and The Make a Wish Foundation.
We decided to keep it a surprise for Andrew (and Jacob), and when we met Jenny this past weekend,
she presented Andrew with the following letter; which, he read out loud while fighting away tears of joy.
"Hello,Andrew
I have learned so much about you from your Mom and Dad and also from Andrew's Journey page. You have been through
so much at such a young age and so brave. I hope you continue to do well and get better. Always keep positive thoughts no
matter what. One thing I do know for sure is your Mom and Dad love you and Jacob so much. There isn't anything they wouldn't
do for either of you.
Now let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Jenny Vsetecka I am the lady from Jenny's
Boston Babies & Precious Pugs giveaway. I receive at least one hundred email's a day and one day I received a special
one from your dad on your behalf telling me what your are going through and what you have been through, and I decided at that
time that you are the one to receive a little Boston Terrier puppy. I have your puppy with me right now and I would love for
you to meet him.He is ready to go home with you now."
Needless to say, it was a very special moment when Andrew
found out he was getting the puppy. The little guy is adorable and doing very well adjusting to his new home.
We had chosen Emma Edwards for our first giveaway.
Her mom "Jill " emailed me with Emma's story and I was so touched I knew Immediately she was the
one for the first giveaway.
(Here is the email Jill had sent me along with an update since being chosen.)
Am writing this for my daughter Emma. She was in a bad car accident 4yrs. Ago when she was
16. She can't walk or talk yet, but spells every thing out by blinking her eyes. We have the alphabet split in
4 rows and have a system in which she spells to us. She is totally cognitive, and has a wonderful positive attitude.
She will tell you she still wants to be a lawyer. She was an honor roll student and gifted artist. She can't use her
hands because of spasticity, but knows there will be a way. She is an inspiration to everyone she meets, and knows the
Lord is the only one that knows the end of her story. She is starting to take steps in her walker. We have wonderful
therapists who are amazed at her progress. She loves animals and I know how this would thrill her and make her feel
SO special! I think this is a wonderful thing you are doing and whoever you choose will be blessed by it!
Since this letter was written she has walked in her walker on the treadmill and also received her
high school diploma with a 3.68 grade point average. We are SO proud of her!! She also said to put that she NOW
has a poodle named Peanut, a Siamese cat named Iris, and a wonderful, loving, beautiful Boston Terrier named Jeeves, who she
loves from the bottom of her heart!! Also, that she thanks you, and will never forget this incredible "Act of Kindness",
it has brought such joy to her life. He is just the most amazing dog, and is a part of our family already!!
Hi Jenny and family...I just wanted to say thank you for our boston her name is sassy, she is the
love of my life. I know Denver (my 6 year old son) won her. But sassy is my puppy she has bonded with me like no
other animal..even though I am not in the best health sassy is always here to make me laugh. I love her so much
and can't imagine my life with out her. Of course she has her naughty days which is most of the time hehe. But
she is doing great very healthy and full of life. I am so grateful for sassy. She may be just a little
girl but she now sleeps with me and is a bed hog can you believe that as little as she is. Thank you again and
I will always recomend you whenever I hear of anyone looking for a breeder. Thank you again and I wish you and
your family the best.
